Batteries may not be given to household waste. End users may be legally required proper disposal. Used batteries have to be returned free of charge to the seller or your local the municipal collection. When batteries are returned to the seller by mail, it is the mission sufficiently frank.

Hazardous substances in batteries and rechargeable batteries are equipped with a symbol of a crossed-out trash. The under the symbol are abbreviations refer to the chemical content of the pollutant: "Cd" (cadmium), "Li" (Li), "Pb" (lead), "Zi" (zinc), "Mh" (metal hydride), "Li-Ion (Li-ion).
